Rose Cottage

Rose Cottage is the perfect place to escape the city and enjoy a peaceful seaside break.  A bungalow style cottage with an open plan living room, kitchen and dining area. It is the perfect cottage for a family or a couple to use as a base for exploring this beautiful area. Halifax, Peggy’s Cove, Chester, Mahone Bay and Lunenburg are all easy day trips.

Rose Cottage has been completely renovated in the last year and is very well equipped with all the modern amenities. Large windows overlook the pristine waters of St. Margaret’s Bay in the distance, with the Cleveland Beach Provincial Park pond in the forefront. This gorgeous sandy beach is one of two beaches within walking distance of the cottage. 

The cheerful kitchen has a large island and plenty of room for storage as well food preparation. Fully equipped with all the appliances and tools you will need to cook up a feast.  A washer and dryer are conveniently hidden in the island. The living room has comfortable seating and is bright and airy. The main bedroom has a comfortable queen sized bed and the second bedroom has a bunkbed (twin over double). The bathroom, located between the two bedrooms, is spacious and has a large standup shower. 

There is a large deck where you can sit out and enjoy the sunsets and ocean breezes. Chairs, a table and a propane barbeque are provided for your enjoyment. The cottage is conveniently located just five minutes from the village of Hubbards, where you will find a grocery store, liquor store, a coffee shop and a charming farmers market. A visit to the famous Shore Club is a must, where you can enjoy a full lobster dinner and live music and dancing on Saturday nights all summer.
